Equal Love invite you and your organisation to a community meeting on Wednesday 16 August at Trades Hall (New Council Chambers), in preparation for a Government forced postal plebiscite on Marriage Equality and in bringing our community organisations together and encourage individuals to get more involved in the 'YES' campaign.
What will a 'YES' campaign look like?
Which organisations are best placed to manage and execute various tasks of the campaign such as; Phone calling, field campaigning, tertiary campus engagement, rallies, production of campaign materials, rural and regional engagement etc?
Which individuals have pertinent skills and attributes that can be utilised in our campaign i.e.; graphic design work, social media, web building etc?
What avenues can the 'YES' campaign use to raise funds?
Overall how can we all work together in ensuring the 'YES' vote will be overwhelmingly successful and deliver Marriage Equality?
Ultimately Equal Love believe that it is in our best interest to be all working together, have open communication and a strong unified message that we are all spruiking.
We look forward to your presence and contribution in this campaign meeting and in achieving a successful outcome on the plebiscite. YES YES YES.
