The Ban on Same Sex Marriage: No Laughing Matter
Star comedians come out in support of same sex marriage to help raise funds for the campaign for equal rights.

The event held at the Glasshouse hotel in Melbourne attracted over 100 people to see comedian and singer Kerryn Fields as well as some more high profile comedians who we were lucky to have in town as a part of the Melbourne comedy festival, such as Jamie Kilstein left wing comedian from New York, Hannah Gadsby a well known out lesbian comedian, and recently out couple Tom Ballard from the triple j morning show and Josh Thomas, tv celebrity and comedian.
There were lots of laughs and lots of funds raised to help us build the same sex marriage rally on may 15.
But the issue is no laughing matter. We still live in a society where one section of society have more rights than others. We need to take a stand against homophobia and show our support on the streets on may 15. View sidebar for details in your state.
